SAP Integration Functional Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Oversee functional integration initiatives across SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, and various third-party enterprise applications.

• Collect, assess, and convert business needs into functional integration specifications and design solutions.

• Ensure that SAP integration solutions are in harmony with comprehensive business processes spanning multiple SAP modules.

• Facilitate functional integration between SAP and enterprise systems such as MES, LIMS, WMS, CRM, and additional business applications.

• Collaborate closely with SAP functional consultants, integration developers, solution architects, and business stakeholders.

• Define functional integration requirements, including business process flows, data mapping, and interface dependencies.

• Conduct functional workshops to determine integration needs, process gaps, and opportunities for enhancement.

• Assist with SAP implementation, migration, transformation, and global deployment initiatives.

• Coordinate integration testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), defect resolution, and validation of business processes.

• Ensure that integration solutions comply with pharmaceutical industry standards, including GxP regulations.

• Provide functional support and address cross-system integration challenges throughout project execution.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in SAP functional consulting, SAP integration, or functional leadership positions.

• Strong functional expertise in SAP S/4HANA and/or SAP ECC.

• Demonstrated experience leading functional integration efforts across SAP modules and non-SAP enterprise systems.

• Comprehensive understanding of end-to-end business processes and cross-functional SAP integration.

• Experience in gathering business requirements, crafting functional specifications, and overseeing solution delivery.

• Familiarity with SAP integration concepts, including IDocs, APIs, interfaces, and data flows, from a functional perspective.

• Experience in integrating SAP with enterprise applications such as MES, LIMS, WMS, or comparable systems.

• Experience working in regulated pharmaceutical environments (GxP).

• Background in supporting large-scale SAP implementations, transformations, or global rollouts.

• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and cross-functional coordination abilities.

• Proficiency in English is mandatory.
