SAP Consultant – Application Management Services, 2nd- and 3rd-Level Support

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Provide expert advice to clients and ensure the dependable functionality of their SAP logistics solutions in SD, MM, and PP.

• Investigate incidents, assess developments, and formulate suitable actions.

• Evaluate and enhance processes and solution strategies within the logistics sector.

• Undertake demanding roles in 2nd- and 3rd-level support.

• Take responsibility for functional modules related to intricate SCM topics.

• Create tailored solutions for clients.

• Plan and oversee SAP projects independently—from estimating efforts and implementation to conducting workshops and training sessions.

• Design and execute solution concepts via SAP customization and specific customer applications.

• Examine functional and technical interrelations and pinpoint optimization possibilities.

• Contribute to the sustainable advancement of the SAP application landscape.

• Develop and maintain documentation for programs, systems, and users.

• Facilitate clear knowledge transfer to clients and project stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• A university degree in a relevant discipline or an equivalent qualification.

• Several years of experience in SAP consulting or application management.

• Proficiency in managing complex support and customer demands.

• A solid understanding of business value chains, particularly in discrete manufacturing.

• Comprehensive knowledge of logistics processes.

• Practical experience with SAP SD, MM, and PP, including relevant customization, is preferred.

• Capability to systematically analyze intricate requirements and devise customer-centric solutions.

• Skill to independently organize tasks and effectively communicate with clients and project stakeholders.

• Experience in project management and familiarity with additional SAP modules are beneficial.

• Excellent proficiency in both written and spoken German and English.
