SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) Administrator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.

📋 Description

• Oversee global accounts, subaccounts, directories, and service entitlements.

• Track resource usage and ensure compliance with assigned quota limits.

• Provision and configure BTP services across development, testing, and production environments.

• Manage Cloud Transport Management (cTMS) and coordinate transports with Development and Integration teams.

• Set up and manage Identity Authentication Service (IAS) and Identity Provisioning Service (IPS).

• Implement audit logging to meet SOX and enterprise compliance standards.

• Collaborate with Cyber Security teams to ensure alignment with enterprise security protocols.

• Ensure secure connectivity between BTP, on-premise systems, and SAP SaaS solutions via SAP Cloud Connector.

• Configure and support APIs, Event Mesh, integration flows, and destinations.

• Diagnose integration, runtime, and production issues across BTP services.

• Maintain BTP documentation, standards, and operational procedures.

• Facilitate end-to-end interface monitoring, performance optimization, and resolution of failures.

• Provide ongoing support during and after project implementation.

• Work collaboratively with SAP functional, technical, infrastructure, and security teams on application deployment and lifecycle management.

• Engage in technical design discussions and solution documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Typically requires a University Degree and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience OR an Advanced Degree in a related field with a minimum of 5 years of experience OR, in the absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience.

• Proven experience administering SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).

• Background in supporting complex SAP S/4HANA landscapes.

• Experience with SAP Cloud Connector configuration, administration, and troubleshooting integration and production issues.

• Ability to work cross-functionally with SAP functional, technical, infrastructure, and security teams.

• Familiarity with observability and system monitoring platforms.

• U.S. citizenship is required.

• Must be based in one of the 50 U.S. states, excluding U.S. territories.

• Preferred: extensive SAP BTP administration experience within complex enterprise environments.

• Preferred: S/4HANA experience, particularly with SAP Application Interface Framework (AIF) and Basis administration.

• Preferred: experience in configuring Event Mesh, APIs, and Integration Suite.

• Preferred: expertise in BTP Build Work Zone configuration.

• Preferred: strong communication, documentation, and governance skills.
