SAP BTP Developer, German

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain applications and extensions on the SAP BTP platform.

• Construct backend services utilizing SAP CAP with Node.js or Java, or through ABAP Cloud / RAP.

• Create user interfaces leveraging SAP Fiori and SAPUI5 / Fiori elements.

• Develop and utilize OData and REST APIs for integrating BTP applications with SAP S/4HANA and other systems.

• Engage with SAP HANA Cloud, XSUAA / authorization, destinations, and Cloud Connector.

• Deploy and operate applications on Cloud Foundry or Kyma utilizing Git and CI/CD pipelines.

• Produce technical documentation and assist in testing and go-live processes.

• Collaborate with BTP consultants, architects, and business stakeholders within international teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of software development experience, including at least 1-2 years in SAP BTP projects.

• Practical experience with CAP (Node.js or Java) or ABAP Cloud / RAP.

• Familiarity with SAP Fiori / SAPUI5 development.

• Strong understanding of OData / REST APIs and Git.

• Proficient in German (at least B2 level), both written and spoken.

• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

• Experience with SAP HANA Cloud, Integration Suite, or SAP Build is a plus.

• Knowledge of CI/CD, Docker, or Kubernetes / Kyma is advantageous.

• Certification in SAP BTP or development is a plus.
