SAP ABAP Developer – ERP, German

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Design, enhance, and sustain tailored SAP applications utilizing ABAP

• Assess technical requirements and execute solutions based on functional specifications

• Create and manage reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, and bespoke programs

• Utilize ABAP Objects, ALV, BAPIs, BADIs, user exits, and enhancement frameworks

• Facilitate integrations between SAP ERP and external systems

• Conduct debugging, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and code reviews

• Collaborate with SAP functional consultants and business stakeholders

• Engage in testing, defect resolution, technical documentation, and deployment tasks

• Assist in SAP implementation, upgrade, and maintenance initiatives

• Adhere to SAP development standards and best practices

• Demonstrated experience as an SAP ABAP Developer in an SAP ERP setting

• In-depth knowledge of ABAP programming and ABAP Objects

• Proficiency in creating custom reports, interfaces, enhancements, and forms

• Familiarity with SAP data structures, tables, function modules, and debugging methods

• Experience working with functional specifications and collaborating with SAP functional teams

• Understanding of SAP integration concepts and performance optimization techniques

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and modern ABAP development is a plus

• Experience with CDS Views, OData, and SAP Fiori-related development is advantageous

• Proficient in English; German language skills are beneficial
