This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.
• Lead or assist in the planning, design, development, implementation, and maintenance of moderately complex processes, systems, networks, or system components.
• Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of assigned tasks while adhering to service level objectives.
• Adhere to IS standards for specifications, prototypes, and documentation.
• Define functional requirements to meet business needs effectively.
• Collaborate with the Security team to establish audit controls that safeguard company resources.
• Work Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
• Conduct daily operations remotely from a home office setting.
• Occasionally travel for meetings, collaborative activities, or team-building events as directed by leadership.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in designing, developing, implementing, or supporting moderately complex information systems or intricate maintenance projects.
• Proficiency in building or supporting mainframe, distributed, or web-based systems.
• Experience with structured systems analysis, design, programming, and testing.
• Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve business and technical issues.
• Experience in monitoring tasks, documenting progress, adapting to project changes, and meeting deadlines.
• User interaction and facilitation experience.
• Design and development experience with mainframe, distributed, and/or web-based systems.
• Familiarity with database management systems such as IMS DB, DB2, SQL Server, and Oracle.
• Knowledge of PC fundamentals, including MS Office.
• Experience with system development tools like ServiceNow, Jira, WEB SPHERE STUDIO, IBM Jade, and Eclipse.
• Proficiency in operating systems such as Windows and UNIX.
• Experience with the SAP Insurance module, system and database design, and production support.
• Understanding of SAP database tables and SAP-defined functions/programs used in the Insurance module.
• Experience in creating SAP enhancements and troubleshooting errors.
• Knowledge of SAP Insurance module configuration.
• Experience with Autosys job scheduling, including setting up, executing, and modifying jobs.
• Proficiency in monitoring and troubleshooting Autosys errors.
• Familiarity with SAP PI/PO components, including Integration Builder, Integration Directory, SLD, Alert Configuration, and NWA.
• Working knowledge of FILE, JDBC, SOAP, REST, SFTP, Proxy, and other standard adapters.
• Experience in troubleshooting and monitoring queues in Process Orchestration (PO).
• Knowledge of systems operations practices, security and control procedures, and systems development methodologies.
• Ability to evaluate moderately complex systems and comprehend interdependencies between components.
• Capacity to lead teams of individuals within a matrix organization.
• Background in claims and insurance is preferred.
• SAP Certification is preferred.
• Experience in developing methodologies, JAD/RAD techniques, and database modeling is preferred.
