SAP ABAP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Create classical, interactive, and ALV reports, along with selection screens and background job scheduling.

• Develop reporting based on CDS.

• Construct OData V2 services utilizing RAP and SEGW to support Fiori applications.

• Implement and manage IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, Proxy, web services, and file-based interfaces.

• Design and configure enhancements, including exits, BAdIs, implicit/explicit enhancements, and BTEs.

• Collaborate on SD/MM/LE enhancement points and key-user extensibility.

• Design and execute SmartForms and Adobe Forms, integrating print programs.

• Set up output management using NACE/BRF+ and assist with print and email outputs.

• Configure Flexible Workflow in S/4HANA and oversee existing SAP Business Workflows.

• Utilize object-oriented and modern ABAP, DDIC, migration, ATC, code review, transport, and authorization protocols.

• Develop technical design documentation and provide unit test evidence.

⛳️ Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of classical, interactive, and ALV reports (SALV, ALV Grid/OO ALV), selection screens, and background job scheduling.

• Proficient in CDS-based reporting.

• Experience in creating OData V2 services through RAP and SEGW for Fiori applications.

• Skilled in IDocs, including custom segments, extensions, inbound/outbound processing, BAPIs, RFCs, Proxy, and web services via SOA Manager.

• Familiarity with file-based interfaces, including application server, upload/download processes, and data validation.

• Experience with user exits, customer exits, BAdIs, implicit/explicit enhancements, and BTEs.

• Understanding of standard SD/MM/LE enhancement points, such as MV45AFZZ and delivery/PO exits.

• Proficient with key-user extensibility and released-API usage.

• Experience working with SmartForms, including layouts, windows, tables, text modules, styles, and driver programs.

• Familiarity with Adobe Forms, including interfaces, context, form layout using LiveCycle Designer, and print program integration.

• Knowledge of NACE/BRF+ output determination, print programs, and email outputs.

• Experienced in Flexible Workflow in S/4HANA, covering scenario configuration, custom start conditions, step conditions, and agent determination using BAdIs.

• Understanding of basic principles of classic SAP Business Workflow, including SWDD and BOR/class-based events.

• Proficient in object-oriented ABAP and modern ABAP syntax (7.5+).

• Knowledgeable about DDIC objects, such as tables, structures, domains, and search helps.

• Experience in lift-and-shift migration of custom objects between systems, ensuring naming/namespace realignment and preventing collisions with existing objects.

• Familiarity with ATC compliance, code review standards, and transport management.

• Experienced with authorization checks using AUTHORITY-CHECK and custom authorization objects.

• Capable of preparing technical design documents and unit test evidence.
