Sample Collector, Phlebotomist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Attend scheduled appointments at various locations, typically within a 2-hour radius of your home address.

• Deliver professional services for hair, nail, blood, and DNA sample collection.

• Gather additional sample types as specified by the Lextox product range.

• Cultivate and enhance relationships with clients and donors.

• Apply company Quality Management System standards and assist in upholding ISO17025 accreditation.

• Ensure that collections are carried out safely, adhering to required operational protocols.

• Provide statements to support legal processes at the time of sample collection.

• Complete all mandatory training set by the company.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a professionally qualified Phlebotomist.

• Recent experience in various venepuncture techniques, mainly vacutainer and butterfly.

• Capability to collect samples in non-clinical environments.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.

• Valid UK Driving Licence.

• Access to a vehicle with business insurance.

• At least 2 years of experience in Phlebotomy following qualification.

• Subject to regular enhanced DBS checks.

• Hepatitis B vaccination is required.

• Experience within the NHS / Blood Service is preferred.

• Familiarity with collecting hair and DNA samples is advantageous.

• Completion of all company-mandated training is required.
