This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +2 more states.
• Collaborate with Customer Solutions teams to convert business requirements into effective Salesforce and Oracle CPQ solutions that enhance account management and customer engagement.
• Write, develop, and sustain production-ready code for scalable Salesforce and Oracle CPQ software solutions and integrations.
• Perform root cause analysis on issues reported by users and implement timely, scalable fixes.
• Evaluate requirements for new features and document technical specifications to facilitate development and governance.
• Design, develop, and maintain custom software, database components, and automated testing scripts.
• Support platform stability and ensure code coverage objectives are met.
• Manage system modifications through source code repositories, ensuring precise version control and production-ready deployments.
• Oversee QA and UAT testing processes to confirm and validate new functionalities prior to release.
• Work alongside Release Management, Technical Governance, and Change Advisory teams to comply with organizational, regulatory, and security standards.
• Foster relationships with business stakeholders to comprehend core processes, promote adoption, and improve solution effectiveness.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• At least 4 years of experience in Software Engineering.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in Salesforce development.
• Practical experience in writing, testing, debugging, and maintaining production-level code using Apex and Salesforce Lightning Web Components (LWC).
• Strong grasp of object-oriented programming principles.
• Proficient in Apex and/or other object-oriented programming languages such as C, C#, Java, or JavaScript.
• Experience with Salesforce development, integrations, APIs, source control, automated testing, and production deployments.
• Capability to convert business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Preferred: experience in cloud-based or enterprise SaaS software development.
• Preferred: familiarity with Oracle CPQ languages, including BML and XSLT.
• Preferred: Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I (PDI) or Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II (PDII) certifications.
• Preferred: Salesforce Administrator Certification.
