Salesforce Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Oversee complete project lifecycles from initiation through to closure.

• Establish project scope, timelines, milestones, and deliverables.

• Monitor progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies.

• Ensure compliance with delivery governance and quality standards.

• Take ownership of delivery, accountability, and decision-making processes.

• Serve as the main point of contact for clients.

• Manage client expectations, provide regular updates, and address escalations.

• Lead requirement discussions, conduct demos, and facilitate feedback loops.

• Plan and manage sprints, backlog grooming, and release cycles.

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

• Ensure alignment of business requirements with technical execution.

• Collaborate with Salesforce developers, admins, architects, QA, and business analysts.

• Distribute tasks, monitor productivity, remove obstacles, and optimize resource use.

• Maintain RAID logs, status reports, project plans, and KPI tracking.

• Monitor adherence to timelines, budget, and quality metrics.

• Ensure compliance with internal delivery frameworks and best practices.

• Manage change requests and prevent scope creep.

• Proactively escalate critical issues.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience.

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in project management.

• Proven success in managing end-to-end Salesforce implementations.

• Experience managing multiple projects and client engagements.

• Strong knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid project management methodologies.

• Familiarity with the Salesforce ecosystem, including Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.

• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions effectively.

• Proficient in project management tools such as Zoho Projects, Jira, ClickUp, or similar.

• Knowledge of the Salesforce platform, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release cycles.

• Proficient in Excel, Confluence, or similar reporting and documentation tools.

• High level of ownership and accountability, structured thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in fast-paced consulting environments, along with collaboration and team leadership skills.

• Salesforce certifications (Admin, Platform, or Consultant) are preferred.

• PMP, PRINCE2, or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification is preferred.

• Experience in a consulting or systems integration environment is preferred.
