Salesforce Manager, Quality Assurance, Consulting

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Take full ownership of Quality Engineering for enterprise Salesforce and/or AWS delivery projects.

• Develop the Test Strategy, Test Plans, Quality Gates, Release Readiness criteria, and the overall testing methodology.

• Oversee Functional, API, Integration, System, Regression, Performance, Security, AI, and Non-Functional testing.

• Recognize delivery risks, implement mitigation strategies, and provide guidance to project stakeholders.

• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Delivery teams throughout the software development lifecycle.

• Create scalable automation frameworks, CI/CD quality gates, and reusable engineering resources.

• Promote shift-left testing, DevOps-based quality methodologies, and enhance engineering productivity.

• Leverage Generative AI and Agentic AI to automate testing processes and refine Quality Engineering workflows with human oversight.

• Convert client business processes into effective quality strategies.

• Assist in Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, backlog refinement, dependency management, and release planning.

• Develop and enhance the Quality Engineering practice through standardization, governance, and ongoing improvement.

• Lead recruitment, onboarding, mentoring, career development, goal setting, performance evaluations, and succession planning.

• Manage resource planning, utilization, capacity forecasting, staffing, operational reporting, and executive escalations.

• Establish reusable frameworks, best practices, KPIs, and Centers of Excellence.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 12 years of experience in Quality Engineering.

• More than 4 years of experience leading high-performing engineering teams.

• Strong practical knowledge in Functional, Automation, API, Integration, Performance, Security, and Enterprise Testing.

• Proven track record in delivering enterprise Salesforce and/or AWS implementations within a consulting context.

• Experience in developing automation frameworks, DevOps-enabled testing practices, and Quality Engineering strategies.

• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies.

• Experience in leading Scrum teams and working collaboratively across cross-functional organizations.

• Demonstrated success in managing personnel, delivery operations, utilization, forecasting, staffing, executive communications, and stakeholder relations.

• Enthusiasm for utilizing Generative AI and Agentic AI to innovate Quality Engineering practices.

• Outstanding communication, leadership, consulting, and problem-solving abilities.
