Salesforce Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop custom invocable Apex actions, prompt templates, and grounding logic for Agentforce.

• Create Apex REST services and leverage GraphQL/Connect APIs.

• Implement OAuth 2.0 flows, including JWT bearer tokens, client credentials, and the rotation of refresh tokens.

• Construct the Salesforce delivery pipeline utilizing SFDX, source-tracked development, scratch orgs, and automated Apex testing.

• Collaborate with stakeholders, project leads, and PMs to clarify requirements, identify risks and dependencies, and convert objectives into actionable solutions.

• Document and assess architecture diagrams, API documentation, and runbooks in conjunction with the platform lead.

• Employ AI tools while reviewing and understanding all merged code.

• Manage deployments through DevOps Center with necessary approval gates.

• Troubleshoot production issues utilizing logs, debug logs, Event Monitoring, and data analysis.

• Monitor project development in Azure DevOps and manage support tickets in Jira Service Management.

• Provide support for Salesforce systems used by Customer Support, Customer Experience, and Professional Services teams.

• Integrate Salesforce with NetSuite, Gainsight, Jira Service Management, and the larger enterprise stack.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience building on the Salesforce platform, with practical knowledge in Apex, SOQL, and Lightning Web Components.

• Experience in API development within Salesforce, including custom Apex REST/SOAP services, Connect REST API, or GraphQL.

• Familiarity with OAuth 2.0 on Salesforce, encompassing connected apps, JWT bearer and client credentials flows, and Named/External Credentials.

• Proficiency in asynchronous Apex, including Queueable, Batch, and Platform Events.

• Strong understanding of governor limits, bulkification, and query performance optimization.

• Knowledge of secure coding practices on Salesforce, including CRUD/FLS enforcement, Apex sharing model, SOQL injection prevention, CORS, and CSP Trusted Sites configuration.

• Experience with source-driven development using SFDX and Git.

• Background in integrating Salesforce with external systems through middleware or direct API connections.

• Excellent written communication skills for creating design documents, API specifications, and explanations for non-developer stakeholders.

• Alternative qualifications: 3 years of relevant experience with a Master’s degree; or a PhD without required experience; or equivalent experience.

• Desirable experience with JavaScript frameworks such as React, Next.js, or similar.

• Familiarity with Service Cloud and Salesforce Knowledge is a plus.

• Understanding of Experience Cloud, including LWR sites, custom LWCs, external user licenses, sharing sets, and guest user access is advantageous.

• Knowledge of the Certinia PSA data model is preferable.

• Experience with middleware solutions like Boomi or MuleSoft is beneficial.

• Exposure to a SOX-regulated or otherwise audited environment is a plus.

• Must not require any form of U.S. work authorization presently or in the future.
