Salesforce Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Define and oversee the comprehensive Salesforce solution and technical architecture.

• Create scalable enterprise solutions utilizing Salesforce platform features and industry-leading practices.

• Convert intricate business and technical requirements into Salesforce architecture and solution designs.

• Set architecture standards, development methodologies, integration strategies, and technical governance.

• Offer architectural direction to Salesforce developers, administrators, technical leads, and delivery teams.

• Design solutions that encompass Salesforce configuration, custom development, data management, integration, security, and automation.

• Lead technical and architectural design evaluations.

• Create integrations between Salesforce and various enterprise applications, APIs, data platforms, and external systems.

• Formulate strategies for data migration, data modeling, data governance, and platform scalability.

• Establish Salesforce security models, covering identity, access, sharing, and permissions.

• Provide architectural oversight for Apex, Lightning Web Components, Salesforce Flow, APIs, and other platform features.

• Guide DevSecOps and CI/CD strategies for Salesforce development and releases.

• Assist in performance optimization and the resolution of complex technical issues.

• Assess new Salesforce features and propose adoption strategies.

• Mentor Salesforce developers, administrators, and technical leads.

• Ensure solutions adhere to relevant federal security, privacy, accessibility, and governance standards.

• Collaborate with program stakeholders, product owners, business analysts, developers, integration teams, cybersecurity experts, and other architects.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field.

• Over 8 years of IT/application development experience, with substantial Salesforce expertise.

• At least 5 years of experience in Salesforce solution design, technical leadership, or architecture.

• Proven experience in architecting enterprise-scale Salesforce implementations.

• Strong comprehension of Salesforce platform capabilities, limitations, and architectural best practices.

• Practical knowledge of Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Salesforce Flow, SOQL, and Salesforce APIs.

• Experience in designing intricate enterprise integrations using REST/SOAP APIs or middleware platforms.

• Solid background in Salesforce security and data architecture.

• Familiarity with Agile development and DevSecOps methodologies.

• Ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and business stakeholders.

• Experience in leading architecture reviews and providing technical guidance to development teams.

• Capability to meet applicable federal background investigation requirements.

• Preferred: experience supporting federal government, federal healthcare, or health IT modernization programs.

• Preferred: experience with Salesforce Government Cloud or Salesforce implementations in regulated environments.

• Preferred: experience with Salesforce Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, or Health Cloud.

• Preferred: experience with MuleSoft or other enterprise integration platforms.

• Preferred: experience architecting Salesforce integrations with cloud and enterprise systems.

• Preferred: experience with large-scale data migration and modernization initiatives.

• Preferred certifications: Salesforce Certified Application Architect, Salesforce Certified System Architect, Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I, Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II, Salesforce Certified Sharing and Visibility Architect, Salesforce Certified Data Architect.
