📋 Description

• Create, develop, and continually enhance a comprehensive sales training curriculum that includes new hire onboarding, ongoing skill enhancement, product launches, and national/regional meeting programming.

• Design structured learning pathways grounded in adult learning theories, utilizing spaced repetition, competency-based progressions, and a mix of modalities (live, virtual, asynchronous, and field-based).

• Apply a keen eye for digital and online learning design, converting existing materials into interactive and visually captivating experiences.

• Establish and manage sales programs, role-play frameworks, sales playbooks, and top-tier sales messaging to ensure representatives can perform consistently and confidently in the field.

• Oversee the architecture of training content within Showpad, EasyGenerator, or a similar LMS, including learning pathways, assessments, and continuing education tracks, while consistently evaluating and integrating new tools and platforms to enhance learning outcomes.

• Proactively utilize AI tools to create training content, simulate coaching scenarios, analyze representative performance patterns, and expand program delivery without compromising quality.

• Employ performance data and field analytics to pinpoint training gaps, assess program effectiveness, and make data-driven decisions about coaching focus, shifting from instinct to a metrics-oriented training model.

• Guide the onboarding process for new sales team members, ensuring they possess the knowledge and skills necessary for success from the outset.

• Assist with in-person training at national sales meetings (NSMs) and regional gatherings, offering targeted, actionable coaching and facilitation for both new hires and experienced representatives.

• Conduct workshops, breakout sessions, and live training activities during regional and national sales meetings as well as new hire training programs.

• Collaborate with the Director of Sales Training and Legal to ensure all content and messaging align with company goals and regulatory standards.

• Maintain and refresh the Sales Training AI Chatbot with accurate, timely information, while identifying opportunities to enhance its intelligence and dynamic capabilities over time.

• Manage logistics for in-person new hire training initiatives.

• Requires approximately 30% travel for in-person training, national sales meetings, and regional meetings.


⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in designing and delivering sales training programs within a corporate environment — we seek someone who has developed programs, not just facilitated them.

• Proven experience in creating sales programs, formulating effective sales messaging, and constructing competency-based coaching frameworks.

• Familiarity with instructional design methodologies and adult learning principles (e.g., Kirkpatrick, ADDIE, spaced learning), combined with a strong inclination towards digital and online learning design.

• Experience in building or managing content within Showpad (strongly preferred), EasyGenerator, or a comparable LMS or sales enablement platform.

• Practical comfort with AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, or similar) and a genuine interest in how emerging technology can enhance training design and delivery.

• Data-driven mindset — capable of interpreting sales performance metrics, identifying trends, and converting data into actionable coaching and curriculum strategies.

• Excellent facilitation, presentation, and written communication skills; adept at leading sessions for new hires, senior sales representatives, and cross-functional stakeholders.

• Outstanding project management and prioritization abilities — capable of handling multiple training initiatives concurrently.

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific, business, or related field.

• Prior experience in pharmaceutical sales training, whether in a home office or field-based setting (preferred).

• Over 5 years of field sales experience in clinical or diagnostics with a proven track record of strong performance, comfortable translating clinical and technical content for a field sales audience (preferred).

• Familiarity with BillionToOne's Unity Complete platform or knowledge of women's health, prenatal diagnostics, or competitive diagnostics companies (preferred).

• Understanding of sales methodology frameworks such as Challenger, MEDDIC, or similar (preferred).

• Experience in deploying AI-powered tools or workflows within a sales enablement or training context (preferred).

• Multimedia content development experience (preferred).

• Familiarity with Notion for content organization and knowledge management, and/or podcast production tools like Captivate (preferred).
