Global Talent Development Specialist II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Costa Rica.

📋 Description

• Identify, diagnose, and analyze developmental requirements while collaborating with stakeholders to design and implement effective learning solutions.

• Evaluate organizational onboarding through targeted surveys and stakeholder feedback to identify challenges and areas for improvement.

• Develop and maintain training materials, documentation, and learning resources.

• Facilitate and moderate global live sessions, including orientation programs for new hires, aimed at internal corporate audiences.

• Coordinate with Global Talent Development, HR Business Partners (HRBPs), and regional HR Operations to ensure that solution delivery aligns with stakeholder expectations.

• Provide regular reports and measure engagement effectiveness.

• Benchmark industry trends and best practices to foster continuous improvement by utilizing learning impact tools such as Performative.

• Revitalize Akamai's comprehensive onboarding strategy for all new employees.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• Over 5 years of relevant experience and education in the HR, learning, and talent development sector.

• Proven ability to manage end-to-end learning initiatives and programs effectively.

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft and Google suite applications.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the capability to interact effectively across all organizational levels.

• Familiarity with learning content design and best-practice Learning & Development methodologies.

• Comfortable using AI platforms such as Claude, Gemini, etc.

• Ability to influence a diverse, global workforce through collaborative communication and a consultative approach at all levels.
