Sales Support Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Assist the district sales team with project management, customer service activities, and quoting.

• Generate customer quotes and cost projections.

• Aid in pricing evaluations and margin assessments.

• Monitor and manage sales opportunities and quotation pipelines.

• Update information regarding project wins and losses along with other sales performance metrics.

• Prepare bid documents and submissions for municipal, county, and commercial projects.

• Keep pricing sheets and sales support documentation up to date.

• Provide forecasting data and reports to management.

• Act as a point of contact for customers and potential clients as necessary.

• Support customer service and sales operations during peak demand periods.

• Work collaboratively with regional sales managers, engineers, operations teams, and customer service representatives.

• Engage in cross-training and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• An associate degree in business, sales, marketing, construction management, or a related field is preferred.

• Experience in sales support, customer service, inside sales, estimating, quoting, or project coordination is preferred.

• Strong organizational and time management capabilities.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships.

• Capability to analyze data and make informed business decisions.

• High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Teams.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or other ERP/CRM systems is advantageous.

• Ability to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and customer service skills.
