This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.
β’ Offer pre-sales technical assistance and expertise to support the sales team.
β’ Conduct comprehensive presentations and product demonstrations for clients and sales representatives.
β’ Assist with the installation aspects of product/service solutions and create prototypes.
β’ Provide continuous customer support for issues related to product/service usage.
β’ Collaborate with Sales Representatives on new business and retention/growth opportunities for the O500 Buyer Group.
β’ Develop plan design solutions, interpret benefits, identify non-standard Cigna benefit administration requirements, and suggest alternatives.
β’ Assess prospect data to evaluate viability.
β’ Communicate with brokers to gather essential data and negotiate timelines.
β’ Strategize on funding and benefit solutions tailored to client needs.
β’ Ascertain benefit intent and collaborate with underwriting to formulate quotes.
β’ Create and manage SFDC opportunities, tailor benefits, ensure compliance with legislation, and coordinate performance guarantees.
β’ Support financial development including translation factors, plan designs, network solutions, financial risks, and caveats.
β’ Initiate SFDC activities and engage in Strategy/LCR calls.
β’ Work with Sales, Proposal Unit, and enterprise partners to generate accurate, high-quality proposals.
β’ Collaborate with business units for additional lines of coverage.
β’ Serve as the primary contact for engaged business units in managing the RFP process.
β’ Review and coordinate deliverables while adhering to internal and external deadlines.
β’ Monitor new product initiatives and assess healthcare-industry impacts due to PPACA changes.
β’ Act as a subject matter expert to identify gaps and enhance the Presale process.
β’ Provide guidance and support to junior professionals.
β’ BA/BS is highly preferred or equivalent experience.
β’ A minimum of 2 years of presale experience is preferred.
β’ Background in Insurance, Healthcare, Employee Benefits, Sales, Finance, Underwriting & Risk, Account Management, Project Management, or Consulting Services.
β’ Advanced understanding of healthcare product lines, major funding vehicles, and benefits administration.
β’ Proven relationship-building abilities and capacity to influence business partners.
β’ Excellent project management and strong written/verbal communication skills.
β’ Capability to manage multiple assignments with changing priorities and deadlines.
β’ Ability to achieve results with urgency and precision.
β’ Creative thinking skills and the capacity to translate ideas into actionable plans.
β’ For remote work, reliable cable broadband or fiber optic internet service with a minimum of 10 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload is required.
