This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Serve as a technical subject matter expert for Irix technology.
β’ Acquire and convey knowledge regarding the functionality of Irix technology.
β’ Implement non-clinical adjustments to the Irix Rules Engine and assist with clinical modifications.
β’ Conduct impact and regression testing for client and clinical updates.
β’ Perform mortality, incidence rate, and decision simulation studies in response to rule modifications.
β’ Support user acceptance testing for system alterations.
β’ Develop, identify, and evaluate test cases for suggested rule modifications.
β’ Update the project management system with specifications, modifications, and task progress.
β’ Review and validate the work and outcomes of team members through peer reviews.
β’ Generate and manage reports for evidence-based research projects.
β’ Implement cloud-based systems for testing purposes.
β’ Deploy legacy on-premises systems for testing and production environments.
β’ Handle routine and ad-hoc client and clinical inquiries.
β’ Maintain precise internal and external project documentation.
β’ Collaborate directly with clients to assess configuration requirements and offer technical insights.
β’ A Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
β’ Over 3 years of professional experience.
β’ Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
β’ Experience with SQL, including joins, aggregate functions, and stored procedures.
β’ Familiarity with C#, Java, Python, or another object-oriented programming language.
β’ Capability to utilize Generative AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot for analysis, documentation, testing, and productivity.
β’ Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information (HIPAA compliance).
β’ Competence to work both independently and as part of a team.
β’ Adaptability to established processes while advancing projects within deadlines.
β’ Proactive in resolving issues and taking ownership.
β’ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
β’ Experience working directly with clients to understand their configuration requirements and provide technical explanations.
β’ Self-driven, solution-focused, and comfortable in a flexible, dynamic work environment.
β’ Familiarity with Databricks and AWS is preferred.
β’ Experience in financial services, actuarial science, and/or insurance underwriting is preferred.
β’ An advanced degree or relevant certification is preferred.
β’ Quality Assurance experience is preferred.
β’ Experience within an Agile Scrum team is preferred.
β’ Proficiency with Git or other version control systems is preferred.
β’ Willingness to travel to the Milliman office in Brookfield, WI as needed and nationwide for meetings, conferences, and team events.
