This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Denmark.
• Identify prospects, establish new accounts, and create opportunities across academia, biotech, pharma, and other pertinent customer segments to drive new business development.
• Take ownership of the Copenhagen territory and sales pipeline, ensuring the achievement of revenue and growth objectives.
• Represent and promote the complete Olink Proteomics portfolio.
• Cultivate and enhance relationships with both new and existing customers.
• Allocate around 50% of your time engaging with customers in the field.
• Collaborate with researchers, key opinion leaders, and scientific stakeholders to identify opportunities and gain insights into research priorities.
• Align customer research requirements with appropriate proteomics solutions.
• Develop opportunities across various disease and research domains.
• Create account and territory plans, managing opportunities from initial prospecting through negotiation and closing.
• Work in partnership with sales, applications, marketing, and other departments.
• Maintain an updated pipeline, opportunities, and next steps utilizing Salesforce and other commercial tools.
• Report directly to the Business Development Director for the Nordics & Baltics.
• Several years of proven sales experience in life sciences, biotechnology, diagnostics, or another relevant scientific area.
• A demonstrated history of achieving and surpassing challenging commercial targets.
• A degree in life sciences, biology, biochemistry, biotechnology, or another relevant scientific field.
• Confidence in engaging with researchers and key opinion leaders.
• Ability to comprehend customer research inquiries and connect them with suitable proteomics solutions.
• A consultative selling approach with the capability to advance opportunities and secure business.
• Exceptional skills in relationship-building, communication, presentation, and negotiation.
• Capability to work autonomously and take ownership of your territory while being a contributing member of a collaborative team.
• Proficiency in both Danish and English.
• A valid driver's license and a willingness to travel frequently throughout the territory.
