This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky, +6 more states.
• Customize Beckman Coulter solutions to meet customers’ research, quality assurance, and manufacturing goals in particle analysis applications.
• Assist customers in both regulated and research settings, with a focus on particle counting, characterization, environmental monitoring, liquid particle counting, particle sizing, TOC, and associated biopharmaceutical quality control processes.
• Develop and execute a comprehensive annual sales strategy that outlines objectives, opportunities, key clients, and regional events.
• Engage in sales activities within a designated geographic area.
• Conduct site visits, telephone communications, trade seminars and exhibitions, product demonstrations, customer seminars, and manage channels.
• Organize training sessions for distributors.
• Provide monthly sales forecasts and keep funnel details accurate.
• Maintain customer and prospect information using Salesforce CRM and other commercial systems.
• Gather and report on competitive activities through Salesforce CRM.
• Travel within the assigned territory and to additional locations for customer interactions, training, and sales meetings.
• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, chemistry, engineering, or a related scientific field.
• More than 2 years of pertinent sales experience.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of tactical sales abilities: prospecting, qualifying leads, closing deals, and expanding existing customer relationships.
• Proven success record, preferably in Life Science, BioPharma, Industrial, and/or Technical/Capital equipment sales.
• Exceptional time and territory management skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative team-oriented mindset.
• Experience with distribution channels.
• Proficiency with personal computers, email, Microsoft Office applications, and CRM/SFDC is preferred.
• Background in selling scientific instruments, capital equipment, or workflow solutions to pharmaceutical, biotechnology, academic, government, environmental monitoring, or quality control laboratories.
• Familiarity with GMP-regulated environments, contamination control tactics, particle analysis technologies, bioprocessing workflows, or related laboratory applications.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%, including overnight trips.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
