This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas, +2 more states.
• Identify and expand new and existing business opportunities to enhance regional profits.
• Assist in formulating marketing strategies that support sales initiatives.
• Cultivate relationships with potential clients to build trust and rapport.
• Establish connections with modular-building manufacturers and subcontractors involved in transportation, installation, and services.
• Exhibit product expertise and provide solutions that align with customer requirements.
• Adhere to established sales protocols and project implementation procedures.
• Deliver outstanding customer service throughout the entire project lifecycle.
• Maintain precise customer quotes, specifications, and special request documentation in the division database.
• Fulfill minimum daily database entry requirements.
• Foster relationships through networking organizations and industry associations.
• Meet or surpass sales targets and objectives.
• Operate from home while also engaging with customers, prospecting, and networking throughout Western Missouri, Kansas, and Nebraska.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales.
• Results-oriented mindset.
• Willingness to travel within the territory as necessary, including occasional overnight stays.
• Strong negotiation and closing abilities.
• Comprehensive understanding of the sales process and its dynamics.
• Dedication to delivering excellent customer service.
• Exceptional communication skills, encompassing verbal, email, and written formats.
• Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
• High motivation level and enthusiasm for sales.
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite, internet applications, and various customer databases.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, attention to detail, and capability to establish rapport with customers and the sales team.
• Proven experience in a process-driven work environment.
• Demonstrated project and time management skills.
• Capacity to make decisions within defined guidelines.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis.
• Must secure the HCD Commercial Coach Salesperson License within 10 weeks of the start date where applicable.
• Previous experience in construction, modular industries, related sectors, or rental industries is a plus.
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug testing, including marijuana, for this safety-sensitive role.
• Commission Bridge support during the ramp-up phase.
