This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +41 more states.
• Create a culture of high accountability and performance in partnership with Sales Leadership.
• Formulate and implement Agent Sales Plans along with a comprehensive go-to-market strategy for the US region.
• Distribute resources, enhance ABB brand awareness through simplified business processes, promote new product sales, drive conversion rates, manage project pipelines, and meet sales objectives.
• Supervise IBC Agents and impact the volume closed by the Agent network.
• Cultivate and maintain a culture centered on Agent development and customer loyalty.
• Collaborate with functional stakeholders, direct sales teams, and the independent Sales Agents network throughout the US.
• Enhance effectiveness within the IBC Sales & Marketing Organization, aligning with similar goals for the direct sales team.
• Develop and implement strategies and governance for the agent channel, including agent selection criteria, line card and commission strategies, communication standards, advisory councils, and plans for improvement.
• Propel agent performance and commercial growth through sales, margin, mix, and pricing objectives; dashboards and scorecards; product line expansion; and optimizing market coverage.
• Offer data-driven leadership and resource allocation insights to boost revenue, enhance customer support, broaden market reach, and achieve growth, profitability, and product-mix goals.
• Enhance agent sales processes and establish tools and systems such as Salesforce, Fletch, and Callidus.
• Improve data access, reporting, and information flow throughout the agent network.
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution or college with at least 12 years of experience in the electrical industry.
• Experience in directional sales for a business exceeding $100M.
• Outstanding analytical, communication, and leadership abilities.
• Prior experience in External Sales Agent Management is highly preferred.
• Strong collaboration and organizational skills.
• Experience working within a matrix organization.
• Comprehensive knowledge of contract experience.
• Familiarity with the full range of products and services, including power distribution one-line and installation products.
• Willingness to travel: 30-50% as necessary.
• Candidates must possess work authorization enabling them to work for ABB in the US.
