This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Oversee the implementation, standardization, and continuous enhancement of S&OE and/or Master Production Planning processes.
• Propel the standardization and control of planning throughout the supply chain utilizing the ERP system across 11 locations in North America.
• Manage inventory parameters, stocking levels, and the framework for aged inventory throughout North America.
• Facilitate the transition from S&OP to S&OE processes.
• Champion best practices in S&OE/Master Production Planning and ensure rigorous execution of planning activities.
• Provide training and coaching to teams on S&OE methodologies and ERP-enabled processes at all sites.
• Take ownership of group S&OE processes, enhancing KPI reporting, root-cause analysis, and systemic action planning.
• Direct daily/weekly execution of S&OE or Master Production Planning across all sites.
• Oversee the management of materials, components, and finished goods inventory throughout North America.
• Spearhead inventory reduction initiatives that align with company objectives and working capital targets.
• Administer short-term planning and OTIF across North America.
• Lead allocation planning for capacity, raw materials, and labor constraints.
• Ensure compliance with established S&OE planning frameworks.
• Head the Aged Inventory Review process to mitigate obsolescence and reduce write-off risks.
• Support ongoing team training initiatives.
• Travel approximately 30% of working time for business-related purposes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline, or equivalent operational experience.
• A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in S&OE or Master Production Planning within manufacturing operations.
• Outstanding leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
• Capable of agile leadership.
• Demonstrated experience in process improvement and operational excellence.
• Comprehensive understanding of supply chain management best practices and emerging trends.
• Proficient in supply chain planning across multiple ERP systems; experience with IFS is advantageous.
• Experience managing supply operations in multi-site, multi-product manufacturing settings.
• Advanced skills in data analytics, including trend analysis, forecasting, and data classification.
• Proficiency in Excel, including capabilities with pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.
• Familiarity with business analytics and Microsoft Power BI is a plus.
• Ability to set strategic direction, formulate strategic plans, and lead change management efforts.
• Strong commercial and financial understanding, including multisite P&L management expertise.
• Proven capability to lead and implement changes, as well as structural and process improvements.
• Knowledge of M&A-driven growth and integration, alongside experience in global business operations.
• Effective collaboration and teamwork skills across various functional areas.
• Willingness to travel approximately 30% of working time.
• The ideal candidate must reside within driving distance of one of the company’s manufacturing facilities in the US.
