This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hong Kong.
• Lead and guide the sales team to achieve sales targets.
• Create and oversee sales execution plans, tracking progress and accomplishments.
• Recruit and mentor team members for optimal performance and growth.
• Establish targets, objectives, metrics, and incentive structures.
• Identify business opportunities and deliver market trend analyses along with key account updates to stakeholders.
• Suggest tactical business plans and key account strategies to the brand team.
• Assist Business Unit and Customer Excellence in managing key accounts.
• Mentor and support key account management practices among sales manager colleagues.
• Build and cultivate a high-performing sales team.
• Set goals, define role responsibilities, provide feedback, and create employee development plans.
• Retain skilled individuals within the organization.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective salesforce support.
• Drive brand team objectives and business outcomes through target establishment, execution planning, and performance monitoring.
• Develop and execute action plans to meet or surpass brand sales goals.
• Compile sales data and review forecasts with the Brand Manager/Business Unit Manager.
• Guide team members in formulating sales plans that align with sales forecasts.
• Determine milestones and modify activities, resources, or timelines to support business initiatives.
• Provide market and customer insights to the brand team.
• Identify business opportunities and collaborate on strategic actions.
• Monitor account engagement and account strategies for brand planning.
• Enhance market intelligence and field performance for brand teams.
• Influence key stakeholders and support the KOL engagement strategy.
• Work with marketing and market access teams on government tender strategies, if applicable.
• Maintain communication with Central Government Stores and the Government Supplies Department, if applicable.
• University graduate, preferably in science or business.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in relevant Sales/Marketing roles within the pharmaceutical sector.
• Prior experience managing eyecare and neuroscience or related therapeutic areas is preferred.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, focus, and develop a sales team.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to derive actionable insights.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Cantonese.
• Positive demeanor, outgoing personality, and strong interpersonal skills.
