This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany, +2 more countries.
• Develop and oversee distributor, dealer, EPC, and installer networks throughout Germany, the Netherlands, Italy, and other European territories.
• Identify, cultivate, and sustain strategic channel partnerships while generating new business opportunities.
• Establish and nurture relationships with clients’ customers, driving sales in energy storage directly.
• Manage sales projects through the entire commercial cycle, from identifying opportunities and negotiations to contracting and project execution.
• Formulate and implement regional sales strategies aimed at achieving revenue and business development goals.
• Track trends in the European energy storage market, including competitors, customer needs, and regulatory changes.
• Collaborate with technical, project delivery, and teams based in China to ensure successful product alignment and project execution.
• Arrange customer training sessions, roadshows, promotional events, and other marketing initiatives to enhance brand visibility.
• Maintain connections with current customers and partners while expanding the company’s network in Europe.
• Travel frequently across Europe to engage with customers, distributors, EPCs, installers, and project collaborators.
• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience within the renewable energy sector, preferably in energy storage systems, PV inverters, or similar solutions.
• At least 2 years of experience in energy storage sales, ideally within an international or European context.
• Proven track record of developing and managing distributor or dealer networks.
• Demonstrated experience in participating in or executing energy storage projects in Europe.
• Established network consisting of at least 5 high-quality channel partners/resources, such as distributors, dealers, EPCs, or installers.
• Existing relationships with EPCs and installers will be viewed favorably.
• Strong proficiency in business English, with the capability to negotiate effectively with customers and partners.
• Fluency in German, Italian, or Dutch.
• Exceptional commercial, negotiation, communication, and relationship-building abilities.
• Capability to work autonomously and collaborate efficiently with international and China-based teams.
• Willingness to travel regularly across Europe.
• Experience managing multiple European markets at once is a significant advantage.
• A technical background in electrical or mechanical engineering is preferred.
• A consistent career trajectory; frequent job changes in the last two roles are not favored.
