Sales Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.

📋 Description

• Strategize, implement, and assess the overall effectiveness of the company's sales initiatives.

• Utilize sales data to make informed decisions that enhance performance and optimize resource distribution.

• Develop and execute business plans for designated territories.

• Supervise and guide the performance of the broker team.

• Analyze the industry, business landscape, competitors, and customer insights to strengthen sales, distribution, and brand presence.

• Travel to major markets to formulate business strategies with brokers and perform retail store evaluations.

• Work collaboratively across departments with customer service and technical services to meet customer requirements.

• Travel 3 days each week for 3 weeks a month, with flexibility according to the needs of the sales manager.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Sales or Marketing, or a minimum of 5 years of relevant sales experience is preferred.

• A strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.

• Exceptional interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, and organizational skills.

• Proficient in sales management software and CRM systems.

• Skilled in Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word.

• At least three years of experience in retail grocery sales is preferred.

• Direct sales experience within the Food Class Trade supply chain is advantageous.

• A background in Sales and Marketing (broker) and/or Category Management is a plus.

• Familiarity with point-of-purchase data platforms such as Nielsen and/or Circana is preferred.

• Candidates must reside in the Northeast region of the United States.

• Candidates are expected to be within a reasonable distance from a metropolitan airport.
