This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +9 more states.
• Oversee commercial implementation, channel distribution strategies, and revenue enhancement for a portfolio exceeding $50M in industrial valves and automation solutions.
• Lead and guide a team of six territory Sales Engineers.
• Perform regular performance assessments, pipeline evaluations, and collaborative commercial visits to meet regional booking and revenue objectives.
• Develop and implement regional distribution strategies in partnership with key channel affiliates and distributor principals.
• Create annual business plans, sales objectives, and inventory commitments.
• Propel specification capture and sales for quarter-turn isolation valves, linear control valves, and actuation/automation systems.
• Collaborate with sales engineers and distributor representatives on high-impact opportunities at client facilities.
• Safeguard and enhance Flowserve's standing on Approved Vendor Lists across the chemical, refining, power, mining, and aerospace sectors.
• Coordinate with factory operations, Quick Response Centers, and product management to address commercial escalations, lead-time needs, and warranty inquiries.
• Maintain opportunity tracking and regional forecasting in the CRM system.
• Deliver monthly and quarterly performance reports to senior executive sales leadership.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Distribution, Business Administration, or a related area; extensive industry experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Over 7 years of progressive sales experience in industrial flow control, specifically focusing on isolation valves, control valves, or valve automation/actuation systems.
• More than 3 years of direct management experience leading outside sales teams, technical sales engineers, or commercial specialists.
• Proven history of managing and expanding industrial distribution networks, channel partners, and manufacturer representatives.
• Demonstrated experience managing a multi-million-dollar regional business portfolio; prior oversight of portfolios exceeding $30M is preferred.
• Willingness and capability to travel approximately 50% throughout the designated geographic area.
• Previous leadership experience with major flow control OEMs is preferred.
• Strong established relationships with distributor principals and industrial end users in the Gulf Coast, Central, or Western US industrial corridors are preferred.
