This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Create significant recurring revenue streams for assigned Brookdale communities that have sales associate vacancies.
• Exceed budgeted sales objectives and community revenue goals by executing necessary processes to finalize sales.
• Travel to communities within a designated geographic region; assignments may vary in duration and can change unexpectedly.
• Propel rapid occupancy increases and maintain rate integrity through daily phone and in-person sales interactions that lead to move-ins.
• Manage sales-specific software and Customer Relationship Management systems, ensuring accurate data entry and database maintenance.
• Relay product information, availability, pricing, and concessions to community associates.
• Participate in daily stand-up meetings.
• Stay informed about relevant competitors in the assigned markets.
• Provide timely and accurate move-in forecasts.
• Communicate the needs and preferences of incoming residents to Executive Directors and relevant community associates.
• Promote a positive image of assigned communities and the Brookdale brand among customers, residents, associates, and professional/volunteer influencers.
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field, along with one to two years of relevant experience.
• Additional years of related work experience may be considered in lieu of the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis, up to four years.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Frequent travel by car and/or air may be necessary.
• Familiarity with sales and marketing principles, methods, strategies, tactics, techniques, and sales control systems.
• Understanding of Medicare and Medicaid regulations and relevant processes for the products being sold.
• Awareness of state regulations that affect or direct service delivery.
• Proficient in operating smartphones, personal computers, and related software.
• Ability to effectively manage time, tasks, and projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Capability to assess and understand customers’ expectations, needs, and circumstances.
• Ability to work well with diverse personalities, treating individuals with dignity, respect, fairness, and maturity.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Frequent travel is required.
• Occasional weekend, evening, or night work may be necessary to ensure shift coverage.
