This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Spearhead the strategy and initiatives to build and oversee the builder network in the Western Region.
• Meet annual sales, market share, and profitability objectives within designated geographies and segments.
• Conduct and sustain regional market analysis while executing plans accordingly.
• Cultivate and manage relationships with builders and programs in the region.
• Activate specific programs in collaboration with corporate purchasing teams.
• Foster connections with channel partners and professional trade contractors.
• Oversee annual business planning and review processes alongside partners.
• Project annual and quarterly revenue for the region stemming from builder successes.
• Observe market conditions, trends, and competitive landscapes to inform sales strategies.
• Support promotional sales efforts, marketing initiatives, and product launches.
• Enhance trade loyalty and represent Owens Corning brands at industry trade shows and events.
• Create and manage the regional expense budget effectively.
• Identify, assess, and select channel partners and professional trade contractors.
• Evaluate, develop, and sustain partner networks to ensure geographic and segment coverage.
• Collaborate with sales leadership to execute effective sales and service strategies.
• Provide reports on builder sales team productivity and advancement towards targets.
• Ensure that sales, marketing, and product initiatives are executed by the builder sales team.
• Utilize CRM systems to enhance sales performance and operational efficiency.
• Engage at a leadership level within local, regional, and/or national trade associations.
• Bachelor’s degree (preferred experience section).
• Over 5 years of sales and/or marketing experience in the building products, construction, or related sectors.
• Direct experience collaborating with home builders is highly preferred.
• Proven track record in an outside sales role representing technical, value-oriented products.
• Willingness to travel at least 50% of the time.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building capabilities.
• Exceptional written, verbal, nonverbal, and presentation communication skills.
• High standards of ethics and integrity.
• Proficient in planning, time management, and organizational skills.
• Results-driven with a strong ability to meet deadlines.
• Capability to navigate ambiguity and lead change initiatives.
• Proficient in anticipating challenges and developing solutions to address them.
• Strong conceptual problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and various software applications.
