This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom, +3 more countries.
• Assist in the implementation and management of worldwide sales compensation and incentive programs.
• Oversee sales compensation plans to guarantee accurate and prompt performance assessments and payments.
• Investigate and resolve commission-related questions from the Sales team, including system access problems, transaction disputes, credits, and payment computations.
• Confirm the accuracy of calculations, commission rates, and metrics; participate in audits as necessary.
• Develop Governance Board presentations in collaboration with the Senior Manager.
• Work alongside Finance and Sales Operations to gather results for incentive calculations.
• Assess the effects of suggested changes to incentive plans on the organization and individual employees for the Agency business sector.
• Utilize market trends to inform Sales Incentive plans and enhance employee retention.
• Conduct external benchmarking studies to assess the effectiveness of plans.
• Analyze market trends and data, carry out feasibility studies, and provide leadership with recommendations on compensation program modifications, enhancements, and exceptions.
• Collaborate with People Business Partners and Payroll to manage new hires, terminations, and transfers, ensuring proper onboarding in accordance with plan policies.
• Support monthly and quarterly evaluations of compensation plan performance, including budget variances and the relationship between results and payouts.
• Monitor compensation plan outcomes and evaluate Sales Incentive plan effectiveness relative to business objectives and strategies.
• Engage with various Sales Business Groups to promote improvements through organizational insights and understanding of business performance.
• Generate recommendations based on insights and modeling for stakeholder reviews and future design iterations.
• Report to the Senior Manager, Sales Incentive Plans, and collaborate with Sales leadership, HR, Finance, and Legal departments.
• Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Master’s Degree in a relevant field is preferred.
• 3-5+ years of direct experience in sales compensation administration.
• In-depth understanding of incentive plan structures, including quotas, accelerators, pay mix, on-target earnings, excellence, and pay-for-performance strategies.
• Proven track record in designing, proposing, and implementing Sales Incentive Plans in large organizations; experience with SaaS business models is preferred.
• Proficient in Excel, including model creation, advanced formulas and arrays, pivot tables, and data manipulation techniques.
• Strong customer service focus and capability to collaborate across various organizational levels.
• Exceptional analytical and critical thinking abilities, including data manipulation and modeling skills.
• Proficient in interpreting data and conveying messages in a clear and concise manner.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to perform under tight deadlines.
• Strategic mindset to foresee potential challenges and propose innovative alternatives.
• Willingness to complete tasks and participate in meetings outside of standard hours to meet deadlines and engage with the global team.
• Significant experience in process automation and enhancements.
• Experience with Salesforce, Microsoft Office Suite with advanced PowerPoint, Workday, and other third-party tools is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with Einstein Analytics (Tableau CRM), Alteryx, or other analytical tools is highly preferred.
• Advanced SQL modeling experience is highly regarded.
• Experience in implementing Sales Incentive/compensation systems.
