
Sales Director, Xylem Mixer Products Europe

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany, +2 more countries.
• Take charge of the overall sales performance, order intake, revenue growth, profitability, and P&L results for the Mixer Products division throughout Europe.
• Develop and implement the regional sales strategy and business plan in alignment with Xylem’s long-term goals.
• Identify and seize opportunities for growth, strategic partnerships, key account expansion, and market development.
• Propel sustainable growth, operational excellence, and maintain commercial discipline.
• Track performance against financial and strategic goals and take corrective actions as necessary.
• Lead forecasting, pipeline management, opportunity development, and uphold CRM excellence via Salesforce.
• Manage pricing strategies, commercial governance, contract approvals, and risk management.
• Provide executive-level reporting and conduct business reviews for senior leadership.
• Establish relationships with customers, channel partners, industry associations, and market influencers.
• Represent Xylem externally and enhance its position as a market leader.
• Collaborate with Marketing on trade shows, customer events, industry engagements, and growth initiatives.
• Guide, coach, and develop sales leaders and teams across Europe.
• Promote succession planning, talent development, employee engagement, and leadership growth.
• Oversee recruitment, performance management, and organizational development initiatives.
• Work in conjunction with Product Management, Applications Engineering, Operations, Marketing, and Service teams.
• Foster organizational alignment and apply best practices across divisions and regions.
• Ensure that teams and channel partners are equipped with the necessary resources, tools, and support to meet their objectives.
• A Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
• Extensive commercial leadership experience in industrial, technical, or engineered products sectors.
• Proven success in leading international sales organizations and nurturing sales leaders.
• Strong history of achieving revenue growth, profitability enhancements, and market expansion.
• Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, effective sales execution, and P&L accountability.
• Exceptional leadership skills with a commitment to coaching, talent development, and building high-performing teams.
• Experience navigating complex matrix organizations and global business contexts.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, including interaction at the executive level.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and sales performance management practices.
• Proficiency in English is required.
• Knowledge of additional European languages is a plus.
