This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.
• Lead the sales strategy for a designated geographical area.
• Create and implement growth-oriented sales strategies, tactics, and action plans.
• Serve as the Motive sales advocate within the assigned region.
• Enhance market penetration and meet annual sales goals.
• Cultivate customer relationships and analyze customer trends.
• Propel profitability and develop commercial growth strategies.
• Oversee territory activities and ensure robust customer engagement.
• Formulate and execute territory sales plans alongside sales and marketing strategies.
• Assess trends and outcomes to finalize deals.
• Forecast and establish annual sales objectives for the territory.
• Predict expected sales volume and profit for both existing and new products.
• Evaluate performance relative to targets.
• Maintain sales volume, product mix, and pricing based on supply, demand, trends, economic indicators, and competitive landscape.
• Monitor costs, competition, supply, and demand dynamics.
• Discover new sales opportunities through networking and industry insights.
• Collaborate closely with Motive teams and establish internal business relationships.
• Hold oneself and others accountable for achieving territory sales objectives.
• Consistently develop sales to optimize competitive positioning and margin contributions.
• Review accomplishments and necessary adjustments in product and sales strategies with leadership.
• Develop and negotiate contracts with customers and procurement teams.
• Ensure accountability from sales professionals and support staff.
• Collaborate with partners on sales leads and revenue generation efforts.
• Convert Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) into sales.
• A degree is required.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills suitable for technical, business, and executive audiences.
• Proficient demonstration and presentation techniques.
• Strong facilitation abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for engaging with individuals from diverse teams.
• Comfortable navigating complex business solutions.
• Broad understanding and experience in the telecommunication network software sector and its processes.
• Knowledge of fixed/mobile/IoT device management and eSIM market requirements, including Broadband Forum standards.
• Experience with customer care integration and workflow requirements for service providers.
• Proven track record in leading commercial negotiations and closing large-scale projects and engagements.
• Demonstrated sales success in the telecommunications field.
• Solid experience in sales forecasting and sales operations planning.
• Proficient in using a CRM system; experience with Salesforce.com is advantageous.
• Willingness to travel 75% of the time, both locally and internationally, sometimes on short notice.
• Legally authorized to work; employment is conditional upon a background investigation where legally permissible.
