Sales Director

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the complete sales and marketing funnel, from generating leads to finalizing contracts and acquiring new clients.

• Create and implement a comprehensive sales and marketing strategy that aligns with the objectives of business growth.

• Assess current sales and marketing processes, pinpoint inefficiencies, and enact enhancements.

• Establish scalable lead generation systems across various channels, including SEO, outbound sales, partnerships, referrals, paid acquisition, and content marketing.

• Maintain a steady stream of qualified leads to support revenue goals.

• Refine lead qualification, sales processes, pipeline management, and conversion rates.

• Personally spearhead strategic sales initiatives and pursue high-value opportunities during the initial rebuilding phase.

• Recruit, nurture, and lead high-performing Sales and Marketing teams.

• Oversee departmental budgets, hiring strategies, resource distribution, and channel investments.

• Set KPIs, performance indicators, and reporting systems.

• Track pipeline health, lead generation, conversion metrics, customer acquisition costs, revenue predictions, and overall commercial performance.

• Deliver performance reports, strategic insights, and revenue forecasts to Company Leadership.

• Collaborate with the Service Department and cross-functional teams to synchronize client expectations, sales commitments, service delivery, onboarding, and client success.

• Identify market opportunities, strategic alliances, and growth initiatives.

• Investigate industry trends, competitor behavior, ecommerce advancements, and emerging marketing strategies.

• Develop scalable processes, documentation, and operational frameworks.

• Encourage accountability, ownership, continuous improvement, and commercial excellence.

• Participate in leadership meetings and contribute to the overarching company strategy.

• Assist other departments with commercial insights and strategic initiatives.

• Report directly to Company Leadership.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience leading Sales, Marketing, or Revenue functions with direct responsibility for commercial outcomes.

• Demonstrated experience in building, scaling, and leading high-performing Sales and Marketing teams.

• Proven capability to drive revenue growth while establishing scalable commercial systems and processes.

• Significant experience within a digital marketing agency or SaaS company catering to ecommerce businesses (required).

• Track record of generating qualified leads through SEO, outbound sales, partnerships, referrals, content marketing, and other growth strategies.

• Proven history of successfully closing new business and managing high-value sales opportunities.

• Strong grasp of sales pipeline management, lead qualification, conversion optimization, and revenue forecasting.

• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.

• Experience in managing departmental budgets, recruitment, resource planning, and operational performance.

• Exceptional leadership, coaching, and people management skills.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Strong organizational skills, accountability, responsiveness, and ability to meet deadlines.

• Ability to work independently and effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fully remote setting.

• Experience selling retention marketing services like Email Marketing, SMS Marketing, or UGC services is a significant advantage.

• Familiarity with Klaviyo, ecommerce marketing technology, and the broader ecommerce ecosystem is highly desirable.

• Existing relationships or a network within the ecommerce or DTC industry is a considerable advantage.

• Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

• Availability and responsiveness during office hours, from Monday to Friday between 3–6 PM BCN time.

• Ability to consistently work 30–35 hours per week (approximately 140 hours per month).

• Reliable internet connection.

• Laptop or desktop computer capable of participating in virtual meetings.

• Openness to constructive feedback and the ability to provide effective coaching and feedback.
