This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky, +1 more state.
• Establish and nurture new relationships with surgeons and accounts within a designated geographic area.
• Convert potential surgeons/accounts and expand sales with current customers through incremental growth.
• Assess customer requirements and devise and implement effective sales strategies.
• Identify and evaluate potential surgeons and accounts.
• Create tailored plans and selling strategies specific to accounts or surgeons.
• Attain business objectives and sales quotas using authorized resources.
• Propel sales for assigned products within the territory or specified accounts.
• Present, demonstrate, and ensure the effective use of products.
• Cultivate relationships with surgeons, operating room staff, and hospital personnel.
• Offer assistance to surgeons and operating room staff during surgical procedures.
• Educate surgeons, operating room, and Central Supply personnel through in-services and workshops.
• Maintain sales equipment and promotional materials.
• Address competitive challenges and advocate for strategic products.
• Execute a plan to achieve a balanced mix of product sales.
• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3 years of professional and/or relevant experience, or an Associate degree/Medical Certification (CST, PT, etc.) with at least 5 years of professional and/or relevant experience, or a minimum of 8 years of professional and/or relevant experience, or a recent transition from Active Military Duty with at least 3 years of professional and/or relevant experience.
• Capability to operate in a lab/operating room setting.
• Valid driver's license issued in the United States.
• Willingness to travel, including weekends and/or overnight stays.
• Reside in or be willing to relocate to the specified territory.
• Excellent interpersonal communication, influencing, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in data analysis.
• Capacity to work independently and with autonomy.
• Ability to navigate a complex reporting structure.
• High level of precision and attention to detail.
• Skill in understanding, interpreting, communicating, and functioning within complex environments.
• Working knowledge of human anatomy and physiology.
• Basic understanding of surgical procedures.
• Preferred strong technical knowledge of surgical instruments, procedures, protocols, and solutions.
• Commission-based sales position.
• Potential for transition to DePuy Synthes employment, following their employment processes, programs, policies, and benefits plans after the planned separation, subject to specific conditions.
