This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.
• Provide support for the application and marketing of chemical products utilized in the paper manufacturing sector.
• Aid customers on-site in recognizing and implementing effective chemical solutions throughout the paper production process.
• Oversee the sales strategy to achieve and surpass sales and profitability margin objectives.
• Cultivate profitable business relationships with assigned accounts.
• Enhance profits, market presence, and market share.
• Present new products and solutions to clients.
• Organize reports, sales meetings, and business evaluations.
• Assist in demand forecasting for the designated region.
• Lead and engage in team activities.
• Build and sustain relationships across manufacturing sites, from operators to mill managers.
• Influence key stakeholders and collaborate within a paper manufacturing setting.
• A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in paper science, chemistry, biology, microbiology, or chemical engineering.
• 1 to 5 years of experience within the paper industry.
• Capacity to formulate Key Account or Project Plans and implement them with precision.
• Strong focus on documenting the Return on Investment (ROI) for both new and existing applications.
• Ability to establish "trust-based" relationships with key purchasers.
• Knowledge of data analysis and reporting practices.
• Excellent organizational abilities.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in paper-making operations is preferred.
• Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma (LSS) and statistical analysis is advantageous.
• Understanding of general wet-end applications, such as retention, sizing, strength, cleaning, defoamers, felt washing, and microbiological control is preferred.
