SailPoint Engineering Lead, IAM

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +6 more states.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of and lead the multi-year Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) roadmap and strategy.

• Establish the SailPoint Identity Security Cloud (ISC) architecture for Joiner-Mover-Leaver lifecycle processes, access certifications, role models, and connectors.

• Create integrations with Oracle HCM, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, ServiceNow, BeyondTrust, and Microsoft Sentinel.

• Build and implement SailPoint ISC functionalities, including workflows, lifecycle rules, access requests, and certification campaigns.

• Set up configuration-as-code practices utilizing GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, source control, and automated testing.

• Lead, mentor, and maintain quality standards for offshore delivery teams.

• Oversee systems integrator partners to ensure that deliverables adhere to architecture, security, and operational standards.

• Manage SOX User Access Review campaigns, gather audit evidence, and participate in compliance engagements.

• Align identity governance controls with NIS2 and DORA regulatory requirements.

• Develop and implement governance frameworks for non-human identities, such as service accounts, APIs, machine identities, and privileged access integrations.

• Collaborate across Security, Infrastructure, Compliance, and Business teams.

• Act as the internal owner and technical authority for Digital Realty's SailPoint Identity Security Cloud platform.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree.

• 8–10 years of experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM).

• 4+ years of practical experience with SailPoint Identity Security Cloud (IdentityNow).

• Demonstrated experience in designing and executing end-to-end Joiner-Mover-Leaver (JML) lifecycle processes.

• Proven track record of owning enterprise IGA architecture and executing multi-year roadmap initiatives.

• Strong knowledge of access certifications, SOX User Access Reviews (UARs), audit preparedness, and compliance engagement.

• Comprehensive understanding of non-human identity governance, including service account lifecycle management, NHI discovery and classification, PAM/IGA integration, and secrets management practices.

• Experience managing identity governance programs in large-scale enterprise settings with over 10,000 identities.

• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and configuration-as-code methodologies.

• Advanced technical expertise in SailPoint ISC, including rules, APIs, connectors, workflows, and integrations.

• Experience integrating identity platforms with Oracle HCM, Active Directory, and Microsoft Entra ID.

• SailPoint ISC Certified Engineer (or equivalent) is highly preferred.

• CISSP and/or CISM certifications are preferred.
