SaaSOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina, +6 more countries.

📋 Description

• Develop and modify Azure and AWS infrastructure using Terraform.

• Create and manage GitHub Actions pipelines for application and infrastructure deployments.

• Provision, upgrade, and dismantle customer environments.

• Manage Windows Server operations, which include Remote Desktop Services, IIS, Active Directory, and Group Policy.

• Oversee SQL Server and Azure SQL operations, including patch management, backups, restores, and performance optimization.

• Automate recurring operational tasks using PowerShell.

• Participate in on-call duties, address customer-impacting incidents, resolve underlying issues, and document root cause analyses (RCAs).

• Implement least-privilege access, gather SOC 2 evidence, and maintain operational runbooks.

• Collaborate on a daily basis with Engineering, Support, and Security teams; report directly to the Director of SaaSOps.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience as a cloud engineer managing production workloads on Azure or AWS.

• Proven experience in deploying and modifying production infrastructure using Terraform through CI/CD pipelines.

• Proficient in PowerShell automation utilized in production environments.

• Hands-on experience with SQL Server or Azure SQL in production, including backups, restores, and performance analysis.

• On-call experience in production settings with the capability to identify root causes and produce actionable RCAs.

• Availability to work from 08:00 to 17:00 ET, Monday to Friday, and participate in after-hours on-call rotation.

• Professional proficiency in English at a C1 level or higher, both spoken and written.

• Must be eligible to work as an independent contractor.

• Ability to commence work within one month of receiving an offer, no later than December 31, 2026.
