S/4HANA Functional Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Arab Emirates (UAE).

📋 Description

• Collect, analyze, and document business requirements

• Convert business requirements into SAP S/4HANA functional solutions

• Configure and enhance SAP S/4HANA business processes

• Assess current processes and identify areas for improvement

• Assist with enhancement requests, modifications, and production issues

• Conduct impact assessments and assist in solution design

• Create functional specifications and documentation for solutions

• Support System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), regression testing, and defect resolution

• Aid in deployment and release initiatives

• Collaborate closely with business users, technical teams, and other SAP stakeholders

• Lead workshops and foster user adoption

• Offer functional support throughout the entirety of the project lifecycle

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in SAP functional consulting

• Strong practical experience in at least one core area of SAP S/4HANA functionality

• Comprehensive experience in SAP functional configuration and business process enhancement

• Proven experience in gathering and analyzing business requirements

• Skilled in preparing functional specifications and clear solution documentation

• Background in solution design and impact assessment

• Experience in supporting testing, UAT, and deployment processes

• Excellent communication skills with stakeholders

• Experience in facilitating workshops

• Proficient in English

• Availability during UAE business hours with adequate overlap with the UAE-based project team

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Business, Engineering, or a related field (preferred)

• Experience with large-scale SAP transformation projects (preferred)

• Familiarity with end-to-end integration across SAP S/4HANA and associated SAP modules (preferred)

• Experience in retail, FMCG, or other large enterprise settings (preferred)

• Experience in structured SAP delivery environments, especially SAP Activate, Agile, or hybrid delivery models (preferred)

• Experience supporting international business stakeholders (preferred)
