RX Fulfillment Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Process prescriptions requested by Teladoc providers through telephone and electronic channels.

• Support Teladoc providers in alignment with established policies and protocols.

• Offer member assistance via phone and electronic messaging.

• Provide services to members, providers, and pharmacies through calls and emails.

• Accurately and promptly process prescriptions under the supervision of prescribers and supervisors in a call-center environment.

• Deliver direct support to Teladoc providers.

• Handle and de-escalate patient or provider calls that require escalation.

• Initiate and submit online prior-authorization requests to health insurance carriers.

• Organize daily task lists to achieve department performance metrics.

• Keep precise case documentation, including issues encountered and resolutions provided.

• Uphold confidentiality and adhere to applicable regulations, including HIPAA.

• Carry out other assigned responsibilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma is mandatory.

• Active certification as a Pharmacy Technician (National), Medical Assistant Certification, or Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse license is required.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician, Medical Assistant, or LPN/LVN is essential.

• At least 1 year of experience in a call center setting is required.

• Familiarity with healthcare and medical terminology is necessary.

• High level of knowledge regarding prescription medications is expected.

• Must be willing to work outside of established hours when necessary.

• Current authorization to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship, now or in the future.

• Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, holidays, and provide coverage 365/24/7, specifically from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM CST, with Tuesday and Wednesday off.
