RWE Biostatistician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Draft and/or contribute to Statistical Analysis Plans (SAP) and associated methodological documentation.

• Conduct analyses using R and Python, alongside SQL/PostgreSQL principles.

• Engage in Real-World Evidence (RWE) studies through design, methodology, and execution.

• Implement data quality checks, including consistency and cohort rules, while documenting assumptions.

• Generate decision-ready deliverables such as tables, figures, and comprehensive reports.

• Communicate results to non-statistical audiences, including both internal and external stakeholders.

• Facilitate more reliable, expedited, and reproducible study execution across plans, code, and reporting.

• Empower cross-functional teams to make well-informed decisions.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in biostatistics/RWE within CROs, consultancies, or similar environments.

• Proven experience delivering analyses on healthcare datasets.

• Skilled in building reusable outputs, including codebases, pipelines, and reporting templates.

• Experience collaborating closely with non-technical stakeholders.

• Proficiency in applying biostatistics techniques, including survival analysis (Kaplan-Meier, log-rank, Cox), regression, GLM/GLMM, and matching/weighting.

• Capability to write clean, reproducible code in R and Python, with a foundational understanding of SQL/PostgreSQL.

• Experience handling patient healthcare data, focusing on quality, traceability, and constraints.

• Ability to produce clear, detailed statistical and methodological documentation, including protocols, SAPs, and reports.

• Competence in creating meaningful data visualizations.

• Strong methodological rigor and meticulous attention to detail.

• Autonomy and a sense of ownership.

• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple studies simultaneously.

• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach.

• Plus: knowledge of GxP and ICH E9/E9(R1) good practices.

• Plus: exposure to machine learning applications in healthcare data.

• Plus: experience with external vendors such as Pharma and CROs.
