Roadside Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Respond to roadside assistance requests

• Evaluate situations and identify faults utilizing advanced diagnostic tools

• Perform vehicle repairs on-site whenever it is safe and feasible

• Make safety-focused decisions regarding repairs versus recovery

• Coordinate professional recovery services and dealer workshop assistance when necessary

• Take ownership of each task from start to finish

• Clearly communicate with customers, manage expectations, and provide reassurance

• Operate and maintain a fully equipped service van

• Manage tools and spare parts effectively

• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain accurate notes in the system

• Achieve service, safety, and quality benchmarks

• Work effectively towards realistic targets

• Responsibly utilize AI, machine learning, data analytics, and cloud-based tools in accordance with data governance, security, and ethical standards

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as a vehicle or roadside technician capable of working independently at the scene

• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities with contemporary equipment

• Confident and composed communication with customers

• Proficient in using IT, mobile applications, and diagnostic software

• Valid UK driving license and proficiency in driving a fully equipped van

• Relevant technical certifications, such as a manufacturer apprenticeship or equivalent City & Guilds Parts I & II, NVQ/B-Tech diploma

• Existing electric vehicle credentials are advantageous

• Willingness to work a rotating shift schedule between 7am and 10pm, including some weekends and Bank Holidays

• Capability to work without overnight shifts
