
Rheumatology Key Account Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +1 more state.
β’ Engage with Rheumatology customers in the designated geographical area and communicate clinically focused messages to enhance brand share and revenue.
β’ Implement account strategies and tactics in Rheumatology to boost product usage.
β’ Build relationships with Rheumatology experts, specialists, nurses, office personnel, healthcare staff, and patient advocacy groups.
β’ Collaborate with Rheumatology cross-functional team members, including Thought Leader Liaisons.
β’ Deliver professional, compliant, ethical, and impactful clinical presentations to healthcare professionals.
β’ Exhibit expertise in therapeutics, products, diseases, and the marketplace while providing market insights and field feedback to the home office.
β’ Work together with field-based and home office teams to meet customer needs and recognize market trends.
β’ Participate in and assist in leading industry congresses and local or regional meetings.
β’ Provide site-level training both in-person and digitally.
β’ Plan, organize, and sponsor local promotional speaker programs and activities.
β’ Execute both short- and long-term strategic plans.
β’ Optimize the budget for the geographical territory.
β’ Identify opportunities and formulate strategic plans to expand territory business.
β’ Manage business opportunities across large group practices, IDNs, and other significant targets.
β’ Establish relationships with key leaders to enhance customer value.
β’ Lead the cross-functional implementation of Sanofi US programs and brand strategies.
β’ Allocate resources based on business opportunities.
β’ Train and advocate for Kevzara in the treatment of polymyalgia rheumatica and rheumatoid arthritis.
β’ A minimum of 2 years of successful experience in pharmaceutical/biotech sales.
β’ Preferred 2+ years of sales experience in Rheumatology.
β’ Proven track record in physician/customer-facing and strategic roles.
β’ Experience with pull-through and total office calls.
β’ Launch experience is preferred.
β’ Experience in selling a specialty biologic, injection, or infusion.
β’ Demonstrated ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment.
β’ Strong communication skills and adaptability to change.
β’ Solid business acumen and project management capabilities.
β’ Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time across the nation, including to the home office and meetings/conventions as needed.
β’ Completion of all fleet safety training is required.
β’ Must maintain an acceptable driving record concerning accidents and incidents.
