This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert for order-to-cash handling activities and internal procedures.
• Execute Revenue Cycle responsibilities, address revenue process issues, manage EMR work queues, and resolve patient claims, charges, and appeals.
• Assist in workflow management and team resource distribution in collaboration with leadership.
• Participate in and co-facilitate meetings with various internal departments.
• Utilize Microsoft Office and EMR reporting tools to assist team projects and leadership requests.
• Engage in cross-departmental project initiatives.
• Carry out tasks and document information in accordance with SOPs and established workflows.
• Meet work queue turnaround time obligations and aid in process enhancements.
• Collaborate across functions to support Revenue Cycle and Order to Cash operations.
• Adhere to the company's mission and values while following Quality Management System policies and procedures.
• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is required.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a contact center, data entry, or customer service setting.
• At least 2 years of experience utilizing various computer systems, including Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, Epic, and Onbase.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in a medical data entry role using EMR systems.
• Demonstrated ability to address complex problems associated with overall workflow processes.
• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations is essential.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, medical billing, and insurance vocabulary.
• Understanding of laboratory terminology is necessary.
• Proficient in Adobe Acrobat, capable of navigating multiple systems within order workflows and converting files to PDF format.
• Proven ability to perform job responsibilities with or without accommodation.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Ability to meet work queue turnaround time expectations.
• Capacity to contribute toward process improvements.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and record-keeping abilities.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, maintain organization, adapt to varying workloads, and complete tasks promptly.
• Regular and dependable attendance is required.
• Must be able to work the designated schedule and overtime as necessary.
• Capability to operate on a mobile device, tablet, or computer and type for approximately 90% of a typical workday.
• Successful completion of all Epic training for TOQ and PFS work queues is required.
• Overtime opportunities available as needed.
• Standard work shift hours.
• No travel is required for this position.
