This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as a Subject Matter Expert regarding internal processes and source documents for team members within the department.

• Execute Revenue Cycle processes, manage queues in the Electronic Medical Records system, and resolve issues related to patient claims, charges, and appeals.

• Assist in managing workflows and resource allocation for the team alongside leadership.

• Participate in and help facilitate meetings with internal departments.

• Utilize Microsoft Office and EMR reporting tools to aid team initiatives and fulfill leadership requests.

• Engage in cross-departmental project initiatives.

• Carry out tasks and document information in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures and established workflows.

• Support turnaround time requirements for work queues and contribute to process enhancement efforts.

• Adhere to the company's mission and values while complying with Quality Management System policies and procedures.

• Maintain consistent and reliable attendance, adhere to the designated schedule, and work overtime as required.

• Operate on mobile devices, tablets, or computers and perform typing for about 90% of a standard workday.

• Collaborate across functions to support Revenue Cycle and Order to Cash processes.


⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is required.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a contact center, data entry, or customer service setting.

• At least 2 years of experience working with various computer systems, including Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, Epic, and OnBase.

• Over 1 year of experience in a medical data entry role utilizing EMR systems.

• Demonstrated ability to address complex issues related to overall workflow processes.

• Familiarity with HIPAA Laws is essential.

• Knowledge of medical terminology, medical billing, and insurance terms is required.

• Understanding of laboratory terminology is beneficial.

• Proficient in Adobe Acrobat, with a proven ability to navigate multiple systems within order workflows and manipulate files into PDF format.

• Capability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Must have authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

• Completion of all Epic training for TOQ and PFS work queues is required.

• Preferred qualifications include experience with project-based work, peer mentorship, managing multiple concurrent work streams, and documenting processes using Microsoft Visio or similar software.
