This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Reconcile and record all payments received.

• Identify discrepancies and analyze issues to guarantee timely payment posting.

• Manage inventory and ensure system alignment between Cotiviti and its clients.

• Reconcile data across various sources.

• Post payments to collection accounts and reconcile them with bank transactions.

• Collaborate with the AP department to issue refunds as necessary.

• Reconcile monthly bank statements with the cash posting database.

• Post adjustment transactions to both the collection and client systems.

• Conduct cash application functions in accordance with corporate and client requirements.

• Access and comprehend online systems to ascertain claim payment status, ensuring accurate application of payments and adjustments.

• Assist in determining the adjudication of refunds.

• Prepare and document financial transactions for assigned accounts.

• Ensure daily deposit reconciliation and maintain daily and monthly audit reports.

• Research and resolve payments that lack invoice numbers or service dates.

• Identify the correct claims for payments and apply payments with precision.

• Stay informed about compliance and recovery laws relating to processing and recoupment.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and engage with both internal and external customers.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business, or three (3) years of experience in Accounting/Finance is required.

• Strong preference for knowledge of healthcare claims.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and system databases is required.

• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple priorities.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy is essential.

• Familiarity with relevant industry-based standards.

• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to thrive in both individual and team settings.

• Must provide a dedicated, secure workspace.

• High-speed internet access/connectivity and office setup and maintenance must be provided by the team member as a working condition.
