Revenue Cycle Program Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee strategic programs and projects aimed at enhancing operational efficiency, reducing costs, and improving performance within Billing Services.

• Collaborate with the COO and the leadership team of Billing Services to convert strategic goals into structured programs, complete with defined scope, milestones, owners, and measurable outcomes.

• Create and uphold program roadmaps, project plans, status updates, risk and issue logs, as well as executive-level dashboards.

• Implement governance routines, regular business reviews, performance scorecards, and plans for corrective actions.

• Evaluate workflows, staffing models, and productivity metrics to uncover opportunities for automation, standardization, and process enhancements.

• Formulate business cases, cost/benefit analyses, and return on investment models for strategic initiatives.

• Collaborate with Operations, Development, IT/Product, Compliance, Finance, HR, and Training to allocate resources, sequence, and execute programs.

• Ensure that processes comply with federal, state, and payer regulatory requirements, including HIPAA, PHI handling, and data security standards.

• Define and document standard operating procedures (SOPs), workflow documentation, and training resources.

• Monitor realized benefits following implementation and report results, risks, and necessary adjustments to leadership.

• Lead change management and communication strategies to foster adoption.

• Assist with the integration and onboarding processes for acquisitions, new clients, and new service lines.

• Facilitate cross-functional meetings, promote accountability, and eliminate obstacles to execution.

• Independently oversee all facets of the role in a remote setting.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Finance, or a related discipline is preferred.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in revenue cycle management, healthcare operations, or a similar field is preferred.

• At least 3 years of program or project management experience leading cross-functional, multi-site initiatives.

• Strong understanding of the complete revenue cycle, including billing, coding, claims, denials, collections, and payer requirements.

• Proven experience in developing business cases, performance scorecards, and reporting at the executive level.

• Project management certification (PMP, Lean, Six Sigma, or equivalent) is preferred.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word); familiarity with project management and business intelligence tools is preferred.

• Exceptional analytical abilities to convert data into actionable insights and recommendations.

• Strong skills in communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management, including interactions with executive leadership and external partners.

• Capability to influence cross-functional teams and drive change without direct authority.

• Highly organized with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines concurrently.

• Experience in a metrics-driven, fast-paced operational environment.

• Commitment to accuracy, compliance, and ongoing improvement.

• Willingness to work across time zones to support operational teams and travel periodically as needed.
