This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as a visible revenue cycle liaison for CommonSpirit market, facility, and functional leaders, supporting the Director during transition, go-live, and stabilization phases.

• Facilitate daily operational alignment among CommonSpirit, Guidehouse, Epic, CSI, and vendor teams.

• Assist with command center activities, including liaison huddles, dashboard meetings, preparation for Top 10, and executive report-outs.

• Track revenue cycle KPIs and operational dashboards, including cash flow, accounts receivable, days not final billed, clean claims, edits, denials, charge lag, registration quality, payment posting, and reconciliation metrics.

• Analyze daily performance trends, pinpoint areas that are off-track, and escalate critical risks as necessary.

• Confirm the movement of work queues, completion of inventory, payer follow-ups, denial resolutions, billing corrections, payment postings, account compilations, and reconciliation efforts.

• Prepare detailed account information, issue summaries, payer trends, and documentation for payer Joint Operating Committee meetings.

• Assist with the preparation, execution, follow-up, and issue resolution for payer JOC meetings.

• Document, prioritize, and resolve issues arising from ServiceNow, huddles, vendor meetings, dashboards, and leadership escalations.

• Ensure adherence to workflows, payer requirements, hospital policies, HIPAA regulations, and operational procedures.

• Collaborate with leaders from Patient Access, Health Information Management, Coding/CDI, Revenue Integrity, Billing, Accounts Receivable Follow-Up, Denials, Notice of Admission, Cash Posting, Credit Balance, Contract Compliance, and Finance.

• Create executive-level updates that include issues, root causes, mitigation strategies, action items, responsible parties, due dates, and priorities.

• Maintain an operational presence during go-live and post-live stabilization phases.

• Assist with job aids, standard operating procedures, reporting expectations, escalation pathways, meeting materials, and communication tools.

• Sustain operational visibility, encourage issue identification and escalation, track payer JOC actions, review productivity and inventory flow, and support accountability and mission alignment.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 8 years of pertinent healthcare revenue cycle experience; relevant experience may substitute for formal education or an advanced degree when appropriate.

• Experience in hospital revenue cycle management or supervisory roles within a provider, health system, CBO, shared services, outsourcing, consulting, or managed services context.

• Proven track record in supporting complex revenue cycle operations, transition assistance, operational stabilization, cross-functional issue resolution, and effective leadership communication.

• Strong understanding of hospital billing, accounts receivable follow-up, denials, payment posting, cash reconciliation, revenue integrity, health information management/coding dependencies, notice of admission, patient access, payer escalation, and revenue cycle KPI management.

• Capacity to support onsite or hybrid market engagement as dictated by the CommonSpirit operating model, including travel or onsite presence during crucial transition and stabilization periods.

• Willingness to travel up to 50%.
