Revenue Cycle Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Direct and expand insurance revenue cycle operations across all markets.

• Oversee insurance verification, claims processing, and credentialing.

• Manage comprehensive revenue cycle functions, including verification, coding assistance, claim submissions, payment postings, accounts receivable and denial management, as well as patient collections.

• Take ownership of and report on key performance indicators, such as net collection rate, days in accounts receivable, denial and rejection rates, clean-claim rate, and aging metrics.

• Document and standardize workflows, develop training systems, and establish standard operating procedures (SOPs).

• Supervise and enhance the skills of in-house verification and claims personnel.

• Design team structure and enhance capacity for organizational growth.

• Oversee outsourced billing partners, including performance management, service level agreements (SLAs), output audits, and the internal audit process.

• Set up revenue cycle operations in new markets.

• Provide regular updates to leadership.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in dental or healthcare revenue cycle management, with a proven history of overseeing the entire cycle (not limited to billing or verifications).

• Demonstrated success in stabilizing, building, or scaling revenue cycle management operations, ideally across multiple locations within a dental service organization (DSO), management service organization (MSO), or multi-site group.

• Strong expertise in dental and medical insurance, including PPO, HMO, and Medicaid verification and claims, coding, denials, and appeals.

• Experience in documenting workflows, creating training materials, and implementing metrics and accountability measures.

• Proven ability to manage and develop remote/distributed teams.

• Comfortable taking ownership of key performance indicators and utilizing them to drive improvements.

• Capability and enthusiasm to safely and effectively implement AI solutions within the revenue cycle management process.
