This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the complete commission cycle for the GTM organization, which includes verifying closed-won data, implementing plan mechanics, calculating payouts, and generating individual statements.
• Ensure the maintenance of crediting rules, quota and territory assignments, resolution of split and multi-rep deals, and adjudication of edge cases.
• Validate commissionable data and establish reconciliation checks among CRM, Finance systems, and payroll.
• Maintain an audit trail for every adjustment made.
• Investigate commission discrepancies, clarify calculations, document resolutions, and address root causes.
• Model attainment distributions, payout curves, accelerator scenarios, and the cost of sales for proposed plan alterations.
• Collaborate with Finance on accruals, forecasting, and payout files.
• Provide commission inputs according to the payroll calendar for each cycle.
• Work alongside Revenue Systems to transfer commission logic from spreadsheets into CRM and reporting systems.
• Define the field, object, and reporting requirements necessary for automated commission tracking and self-service attainment visibility.
• Maintain plan documents, quota records, approved exception logs, and process runbooks.
• Ensure accuracy in payouts, timely cycles, dispute resolution, progress in automation, readiness for audits, and trust among stakeholders.
• 5–7+ years of experience in commission operations, sales compensation, revenue operations, or FP&A, with ownership of a complete commission cycle for a multi-segment GTM team.
• Experience in designing or significantly redesigning incentive plans.
• Proficient in advanced spreadsheet skills using Excel and Google Sheets, including complex formula logic, handling large data sets, and creating auditable models.
• Familiarity with quota, attainment, accelerators, draws, clawbacks, splits, and crediting rules.
• Practical experience with CRM data, particularly in HubSpot and/or Salesforce.
• Strong attention to detail and self-review discipline.
• Ability to communicate clearly, both in writing and verbally, with non-analytical audiences.
• Demonstrated discretion and judgment when handling confidential compensation data.
• Comfortable establishing structure in undocumented processes and taking a stand with Sales leadership when plan terms support it.
• Familiarity with SQL, BI tools such as Looker or Tableau, or compensation platforms like CaptivateIQ, Xactly, Spiff, or similar is advantageous but not mandatory.
