Revenue Audit Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Review monthly royalty reports to ensure accuracy.

• Perform audits on financial data and reporting for the center.

• Present findings from audits and address any follow-up inquiries.

• Answer questions related to royalty reporting and auditing.

• Execute ad hoc audits as necessary.

• Audit franchisee sales data, operational processes, financial statements, royalty reports, and business practices for compliance with the Franchise Agreement and Center Operations Manual.

• Offer support to franchisees within the network.

• Oversee multiple tasks and processes, prioritize responsibilities, and achieve departmental goals and deadlines.

⛳️ Requirements

• Fundamental understanding of accounting theories and principles.

• Capability to gather and document precise information while maintaining organized files.

• Ability to make independent decisions.

• Familiarity with basic financial terminology and concepts, such as cash flows, operating profit/loss, and net income.

• Proficiency in conducting financial analyses.

• Skill in generating simple reports using basic software functions and writing basic queries.

• Strong communication abilities via phone and email.

• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS) — Preferred.

• Bachelor's Degree or International equivalent — Preferred.

• Bachelor's Degree or International equivalent in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field — Preferred.

• Experience in conducting financial analysis — Preferred.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products, including V-Lookup, Pivot Tables, and database creation/management, or similar software.

• Must be available to work from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM PST.
